The biggest concern is almost always finding the date! The calendar fills fast, so contact Duane and Mary about your event as early as possible. Sometimes there are changes in scheduling that allow a spot on the calendar to open up. So don't hesitate to try to connect with the Laflins when you have a "last minute" need. However, remember that normally their schedule is filled a year in advance. Their booking process is simple. Just give them a call or send an email. When contacting them have the following information ready: - For what date or dates do you need them? - What age group is the program for? - Where will the program take place? - Any special concerns or needs? About Cost Normally the Laflins work on a fee basis. There are special circumstances where they will come in on a "love offering" basis, but it is almost always better to establish an honorarium. Their preference is to quote on inclusive fee. In other words, they do not ask extra for hotel, meals, miles, or airfare. This way there will be no surprises for you. Your group can plan the budget in advance knowing exactly how much will be invested to have them at the event. Duane and Mary cover all their own costs. If you compare their fees with other performers, please remember that the Laflin price does not involve "add-ons". Be prepared for the fact that the Laflins are experienced and professional. They bring you a program that reflects excellence on every level. Their fees will not be the lowest you can find, but their program will certainly be one of the best you can find.
