Things To Keep In Mind About Their Program...
- It begins with an exciting demonstration of colorful tricks and sleight of hand effects. This is part of "winning the right to be heard."
- They always take time to explain the difference between tricks and true miracles. They make sure it is understood that their work is only the application of knowledge and principles from God's created world to make illusions and puzzles. They "surprise the eyes" on the way to reaching the heart!
- They often use audience volunteers to help them on stage. This brings laughs and creates memorable moments. The participants are treated with kindness and respect.
- They perform at an upbeat pace and offer many astonishing tricks and amazing events during the show. Things come to a beautiful conclusion with a complete and powerful presentation of the Gospel message.
What Duane and Mary can do for your group...
#1. Family Outreach Event. Have them put on a show that attracts "children of all ages." It will be a positive and appealing program where the Gospel is shared in a meaningful manner. A wonderful combination of entertainment and evangelism.
#2. Bible School or "Kid's Crusade". Have them come as a special event that is part of your annual outreach program to children.
#3. Special guests for junior church/kid's church ministry. Duane and Mary especially enjoy performing for children. After watching them hold the attention of over one thousand children for an hour long program in a large church in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a visiting evangelist said, "I would not have thought if possible for anyone to keep the attention of this many children for such a period of time. They did it, the kids loved it, and the message was heard!"
#4. Special guests for teen or college age ministry. Experience in secular venues has made Duane and Mary adept at connecting with older youth and young adults. Their illusions impress. Their skills and showmanship give them credibility. They know how to adjust lessons to meet the need of the hearers.
#5. Special guests for senior saints get-together. Those who have been around for many years enjoy the illusions, too. Bring them in for a fun program that encourages and inspires!
#6. Halloween alternative programs. Illusions seem ideally suited for this kind of event. Have Duane and Mary present an exciting and fun show that reveals the difference between mystery and truth.
#7. Banquet Entertainment, Awards Nights, Special Celebrations, New Year's Eve Programs. The Laflins are Christian entertainers. They know how to put on a marvelous show. In the process their testimony shines through. They can close the show with a spiritual challenge, or simply be there to provide clean and wholesome entertainment.
#8. Crusade type ministry designed to reach large crowds in your community. Duane and Mary have enough material to perform several nights in a row with a different show each time.

A LARGE ILLUSION SHOW! This is a large scale event designed to
reach the community through attracting people to a local auditorium or
theater. It features grand illusions such as the Sword Basket, Head
Twister, Body Slicer, and More! The end of the show is an explanation
of the difference between illusion and truth wherein the gospel is shared.
Duane and Mary can design a program to fit most situations, but they particularly enjoy ministering to families. Their first choice is a "family outreach" type event.
